bbi basic editor v1.2 --------------------- this editor will accept 3 total lines of text as apposed to the old 2 and a few more on a fourth line is also possible. though, to get the extra third line, when your cursor is sitting at the end of two lines of text, press f1 at the last character point, a space will be inserted and you can continue onto the third line. the insert will also allow you to insert up to 3 lines of text, so, the f1 isn't the only way to get 3 lines of text. there is another main feature of this editor, is not only does the cursor not blink, it causes special functions to occur when a partial listing is on the screen and you cursor down or up past the screen's limits. i'll let you find out for yourself. the editor resides at $c000-cc00 in memory, so other editors that use wedge format may be used, though, basic aid is dangerous as it's screen scroll routine has a tendancy to crash, so, turn it off first by typing "off" and then later "kill" basic aid before usage of this editor. warning: the screen may lose its integrity when using the scroll from lines over 5 lines long, as this editor will accept a 20 line long basic line #, which is impossible from this editor, you shouldn't run into problems unless you are looking for them. and even in any case, you'll be able to run/stop restore out of it with no problems. bbi soft'89
